These are all a little out of order, but here goes anyway! :)
I met up with my college roommate and dear friend Jenn in Waco one day this month. Of course, no trip to Waco is complete these days without a trip to the Magnolia Market! :) We had a great time talking, shopping, eating, and just catching up. We've been friends since Awana camp when we were both in the 6th grade, and we're still going strong!
Eli did his first science fair project this month. This was a true test of parenting fortitude.
Eric and Phil took the boys to see the Mesquite Skeeters varsity soccer team play in the playoffs.
Egg dye-ing for Easter!
Obligatory dog picture. I must say- if I was a dog, this is EXACTLY what I would be doing 99% of the time- napping on the couch in the sun!
Egg hunt!
LOTS of soccer gets played in the springtime. My dad, Eric, and Phil take on the boys multiple times a week. It's fun to watch!
Easter morning. Doesn't he look so grown up??
I LOVE this boy!!
Two peas in a pod.
I'm in a picture for once!
My mom will buy them matching shirts for as long as they'll let her. :)
Last week was Eli's spring break. We enjoyed a couple days off together and then headed to Daingerfield with the whole family for the rest of the week. I love this picture of Eli and Hank looking out the window, waiting for Eric. They are both equally enamored with him. :)
Swinging.
Kayaking. My mom and Eli are out on that boat, with Hank watching from a distance.
Plenty of time to just rest and relax. I LOVE these camping trips for this reason!
The weather was warm enough on the first day for the boys to swim!
I love this picture of my mom and Eli (and Oakley).
This was not posed at all! I just happened to look through this hole and see Eli standing there looking at the lake- a perfect "photo op!" :)
The golden hour.
More kayaking with my dad.
Sunset!
Lots of hiking.
Resting after jogging around the lake.
Baseball in the field at sunset- PERFECT!
Required picture number one: boys on the sign.
Required picture number two: whole family before leaving. (Not pictured: the dog on the end of the leash Eric is holding, who would not cooperate for a picture. :) )
And now on to April! Much love!
