 These are comically out of order, but here goes as usual...

January was a slow, quiet month that we loved!  I didn't take many pictures until the last day of the month, when Dallas was hit with an ice storm that shut us down for a few days.  My work was closed, Eric was off for a day and a half, and Eli's school was cancelled.  We enjoyed the surprise break together and made the most of the time.  

We took walks in the deserted park...

Did a little sledding...

And just enjoyed the winter weather together.

And now moving backwards... Eli and Eric have been diligently working on the back porch construction project...

We've enjoyed playing games together.

We've also had gorgeous weather this month and enjoyed being outside.

Part of the porch construction project was digging a giant koi pond.

And back to the ice storm.  :)
