December 2024

Alrighty...  here are some mixed up pictures from the last month of 2024!

The McDonalds came to visit after Christmas.  We love and miss them so much and are always so thankful to get to spend time with them.  Baby Theo was fascinated by Eli!

Cousins in Christmas pajamas...

Kelly and I got to go see Andrew Peterson's "Behold the Lamb" concert this month.  It was, as expected, so beautiful and meaningful.

Jumping forward to Christmas Eve...  after going to the church service, we spend the evening with the Heinzes, playing games and eating yummy food.  I love this tradition!

Back to the beginning of the month when Eric took me to the Meyerson for dinner and the symphony to celebrate my birthday...

The boys decorated their tree...

Elizabeth and Jacey and I went to see the Mesquite Symphony Orchestra's Christmas performance, which was great as always!

Our traditional "Christmas Adam" dinner- steaks and scallops!

This was on Christmas Eve before church...

And Christmas morning...

Back to the McDonalds' visit after Christmas- all the kiddos.  We have known and loved each of them since they were born!

The year wrapped up quietly and calmly with some time off and lots of time spent with family.  On New Year's Eve we played games and ate more yummy food with the family, but I didn't take any pictures.  It was a great ending to a great year, and we're so thankful for all of it.  Bring on 2025!

November 2024

Alrighty...  a few pics from November, all mixed up as usual!  :)

We drove to Oklahoma to visit Eric's step-mom and sister and had a great day talking and laughing together.

The boys went on a camping trip to Atlanta State Park...

At the beginning of the month, Eli got all dressed up and went to homecoming with his school friends.  He cleans up nice, eh?  :)

Elizabeth and I went to the symphony to see them perform Elgar's Enigma Variations.  It was INCREDIBLE.

Back to homecoming...

On Thanksgiving Eve, we did our traditional pre-Thanksgiving dinner at home.  I love this tradition!

This Thanksgiving was quieter than usual, which was LOVELY!  We enjoyed our monkey bread breakfast and then took a walk together.  We watched the dog show with my family and then had an amazing Thanksgiving dinner all together.

We always do this little "Thanksgiving door" in November.  I love seeing it all filled up with things we are thankful for.

And we got our tree up and decorated.  Bring on the Christmas season!  :)

LOVE to you!!

October 2024

Here are some pictures from October...

At the end of the month, we went to Daingerfield for our annual fall family camping trip.  We had a blast being together, outside in our favorite spot.  I didn't take a lot of pictures this time, but here are a few...

Heather and Michael and I took Jacey and Eli on a college visit to UT Tyler...

We went to the State Fair with Elizabeth and CJ...

Michael and Heather and Eric and I went to see the Avett Brothers in concert, which we had been looking forward to for almost a year!  It was AMAZING, and we so enjoyed this evening together.

Eli got to go to a Mavs game with a couple friends...

The boys did their annual "Go Fish" game at the church fall festival...

And that concludes October!  LOVE to you!!

September 2024

Alrighty!  September!

Elizabeth and Caitlin and I got to go see the Dallas Symphony perform Stravinsky and Tchaikovsky- it was amazing!

We went to a Forney football game to see Jacey and Cooper and CJ play in the band.

We took Eli to the Dallas card show (sports cards buying and trading).

Eric and I went to the Cooper for our anniversary.

The highlight of the month was a trip to Grand Lake, Colorado, which is a super cute little town near Rocky Mountain National Park.

This is the view from the balcony of the condo where we stayed.  It was perfect!

Vacation rule:  ice cream cones as often as possible.

We took so many gorgeous hikes.

We happened to hit leaf season at its peak!  The golden aspens were gorgeous.

These stairs in RMNP were a hike up to 12,000 ft elevation!  It was TOUGH!  :)

Morning view from our condo...  we all enjoyed sitting on this porch so much.

And now on to October!
